Thank you Sorrento Bay Swim Participants

Despite challenging conditions including rain, thunder, lightning, and fog, the Sorrento Bay Swim proved to be an extraordinary demonstration of community resilience and athletic excellence.

Special congratulations go to Ross Hewitt, who achieved an outstanding double victory, claiming first place in both the 2000m and 4000m events. His exceptional performance exemplifies the caliber of athletes our event continues to attract.

To every participant who braved these testing conditions - you are all champions. Your unwavering spirit and determination embody the very essence of what makes the Sorrento Bay Swim such a special community event.

Entry Details:

Online entry fees for 2025 are:

● $45.00 for 600m (8+ Junior & Novice),

● $90.00 for the 2,000m (12+ Open, Seniors, Masters, Grand Master, & Legends) and

● $90.00 for the 4,000m (18+ Elite) swims.

For those swimmers wishing to compete both the 2,000m & 4,000m swims we have a discounted entry fee of $155.00. Please note all entry fees are inclusive of GST and Race Roster fees, so there will be no additional charges during checkout.

Please note that if you are planning to pay cash on the day of the event, entries will cost $50, $95, 95 and $160 respectively.

All participants receive an event t-shirt (enter before 1 December 2024 to ensure receipt of your nominated t-shirt size) and a coloured swim cap (each race has a different cap colour) in their race pack.

Registration will occur on arrival at the Sorrento Foreshore in the Finish Line area (near The Baths Restaurant), and swim briefings will be given in front of the Race Director’s tower in the same area. Courtesy buses will be available to transport entrants to the 2,000m and 4,000m start lines. Please arrive early to make sure you get to the start line on time!

Please note the timing devices need to be worn on the ankle and they must be returned to a volunteer at the finish line (non-returned timing tags and straps will cost $99.00).
