Momentum is building at Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club—and our new clubhouse is starting to take real shape. With blockwork progressing steadily and construction now underway on the Parks Vic toilet blocks, we’re moving through key milestones and keeping the pace up. Next up: forming the Level 1 concrete slab—another exciting step as this iconic coastal facility comes to life for our members and the wider community.

ABOUT SORRENTO SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB
Established in 1998, we prioritise public safety and community engagement. Our clubhouse is located on the Mornington Peninsula, and our soon-to-be-rebuilt Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club is located on the iconic Sorrento back beach. As a volunteer life-saving club, our mission is to ensure the safety of beachgoers during the summer months.
With Sorrento Back Beach attracting over 30,000 visitors each year, our dedicated volunteers are essential. Contributing over 1,000 hours each season, they perform critical duties from hazard prevention to first aid, ensuring every beachgoer has a safe experience.
Sorrento SLSC offers opportunities for all ages—from Nippers to adults—to learn surf safety, develop rescue skills, and follow pathways to become volunteer surf lifesavers. Our training programs build confidence and foster a strong sense of community service in our coastal community.
