Sorrento's next chapter is taking shape.
With McColl Smith Builders, our new clubhouse is well into its final stages. The fit-out is happening inside, and rock rendering is going on outside, giving the building its coastal finish. The doors are getting closer!

Join now, before we open the doors.
Become a social member before the new clubhouse opens and we'll waive your joining fee. Be part of the club, our events and the new clubhouse from day one.
Your annual membership fee is the same as usual. It covers your season with the club.
The one-off joining fee is waived for new social members who join before the doors open.
In short: new social members pay the membership fee only, no joining fee on top.

We need you on the beach.
Our patrols run on volunteers, and we need more active members to keep Sorrento Back Beach safe this summer. Sign up for a training course, earn your Surf Rescue Certificate and join a patrol team.
- New to lifesaving? Do a training course and earn your Surf Rescue Certificate so you can volunteer on patrol.
- Already qualified? Keep your skills current and keep it going. Your patrol team is counting on you.
- Been involved before? Please reconsider volunteering. We'd love to see you back on the beach.

Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback on our merch. We're listening and looking into your suggestions for new items. Right now we're taking pre-orders so every member, active or social, can be sure of their gear for the new season. Stock items can't be guaranteed to last, so pre-order to secure yours. Pre-orders close Friday 30 October at 12 noon.

Bay Swim registrations open Saturday 3 October.
Three courses for all abilities: 600m, 2km and 4km. Race day is Sunday 17 January 2027. Registrations open 3 October, so get ready to grab your spot.
There's still room in Nippers!
We still have a few spaces left in this season's Nippers program. Beach skills, surf awareness, confidence and a whole lot of fun at Sorrento Back Beach. Nippers runs most Sundays from 22 November.

We prioritise public safety and community engagement. Our volunteer lifesaving club, soon to be rebuilt on the iconic Sorrento back beach, keeps beachgoers safe through the summer months.
From Nippers to adults, everyone can learn surf safety, build rescue skills and follow the pathway to becoming a volunteer surf lifesaver, all while being part of a strong coastal community.
